At S'METICS, sustainability is much more than just a trend – it is an essential part of our corporate philosophy. We are continuously working on new formulations and developments. S’METICS constantly adapts to the changing times, as product requirements are continuously evolving.
Our formulations
Over 16 years ago, we made the conscious decision to avoid using parabens, silicones, and dyes. We also refrain from using fragrances that are suspected of triggering allergies. Today, the focus is increasing on the complete elimination of microplastics. Consumers are placing more value on environmental protection and want to contribute to preserving the environment.
Sustainable innovation of cream texture
We have succeeded in completely replacing the previously used acrylate compound with natural substances. By combining Guar Gum (seeds from the Cyamopsis tree) with Xanthan Gum (a naturally occurring polysaccharide), each cream obtains its natural, soft, and smooth texture without further burdening the environment. In 2021, all S’METICS cream formulations were changed. With this, we set new standards in the Green Ingredient List without sacrificing the high dosage of our active ingredients.
